CAD Designer & Proposal Engineer – Solar Design

Job Summary

We are looking for a CAD Designer to prepare solar PV panel layout drawings, structure drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and project-related technical drawings. and report preparationThe candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of supporting the engineering team in solar project design and execution.

Experience

• 1–2 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare solar panel layout drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for module placement, inverter locations, cable routing, and equipment layouts.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for drawing updates.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and client requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• Knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical layouts.
• Ability to read engineering and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of SLD preparation and cable routing drawings.

Qualification

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering.
• AutoCAD.
• Experience in solar project design will be an added advantage.
